We are ok but many have lost SO MUCH.

To those of you out there in cyberspace, just want to let you know, we are ok here. Survived the tornadic evening. We will be busy in the coming days helping with the clean up in Joplin. As I posted last night, debris reached all the way to us-60ish miles away.  So much loss. So much devastation. So long...the process of cleaning up, healing, moving forward. My heart and prayers goes out to all of those affected by this catastrophic event. Mick and I will both be helping with the clean-up in the coming days. Having lived through straight winds/tornado in 1980, I know the stress and fear of not knowing where your loved ones are or if they are ok. (See previous post for more details).
About 30% of the town of Joplin is gone. May God bless Joplin and help see those affected through this stressful, heart-wrenching time. Give them strength and support. Amen.

There is more severe weather in our forecast today and tomorrow night (with the potential for more tornadoes). We are not out of danger yet. Please pray that no more severe weather hits our area and deter the first responders from saving lives. Thanks.
